Necklaces made of resin in one piece, that ergonomically fit female neck, are handmade in a long process of moulding. The inspiration was drown from the ancient emblem used to ward off evil spirits, which is believed to bring good luck if nailed with the ends pointing up. There are theories that the magic of this symbol lies in its shape - that of the horned moon.

Collection of 5 limited edition cocktail rings, significantly called New York, was carefully handcrafted in gold, precious stones and diamonds, designed to glorify geometry, the City and Art Deco Style. The collection was designed to celebrate 5 years of the Sovilj brand and it was presented on a gala exhibition held on 8 June 2010 in the in Sculpture Park of the Croatian Academy Glyptotheque in Zagreb.

Inspired by the wheel, the key object in the evolution of our civilisation, this collection is all about statement necklaces. Different sizes of cylinders, as one of the most basic curvi-linear geometric shapes, in combination with metals like stainless steel and brass trapped in resin, create opulent and sculptural forms of jewellery.

This collection, inspired by Charleston, is made of simple sticks which seem to be dancing, especially when in motion. Enamel technique used in this collection resulted in various colourful combinations of necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

An everlasting inspiration for Nenad Sovilj’s work and an infinite source of his aesthetics is Art Deco period. Pieces of jewellery in Trapezia collection represent the designer’s vision of modern Cleopatra. Each piece is carefully hand-crafted in resin, semi-precious and precious stones, silver or gold.

Elongated elements made of resin, steel, brass, silver and semiprecious stones, and especially Adriatic coral are used to create contemporary pieces of jewellery, inspired by a tapering structure hanging like an icicle from the roof of a cave.

Elements of this collection are made of pebbles collected from the shore of the river Sava, Croatian longest river. Their shape, designed by the nature itself, was then copied and this is how resin “clones” turned into pendants and necklaces soon became Sovilj’s best sellers.

In May 2005, while Nenad was making a small organic sculpture, he thought: “If I drill a hole in it, it could be worn as jewellery.” The very first piece of jewellery was born. It was a bangle bracelet!
